Coming from a creative background and being brought up in a very green part of South London near Greenwich with my mother a Painter and father an Architect and Photographer, I was influenced and immersed in visual Arts from an early age. I later studied Photography in Newcastle College of Art and Design after spending 2 years living in San Francisco.
Later I was exposed to 90's Nightclub Culture in the UK and abroad through working with various London based music magazines including Ministry of Sound, NME, Mixmag and Time Out. I have always had a strong interest in Architecture , Interior and Design and I cover a wide range of subject matter from Portraiture and Events to Interiors.
In my work I strive to achieve the true sense of character of a person or place and to re-live the experiences of an event as a pictorial story.
I love to travel and the excitement of constantly discovering things new and unusual to me. I am married to a Brazilian wife who has helped me discover the deep South of Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul a land with a predominantly native population where tropical fruit trees grow in abundance and exotic plants entwined around Art Deco style buildings and the city streets of Porto Alegre. A country so enormous with so much more to discover.
